Senior Passage
In 8 one-on-one sessions, we’ll work together through fall to curate a solid college list, meet application deadlines, and develop a standout
essay. Our work will be as granular as creating a Common App profile (and other portal profiles) together, getting applications submitted and the FAFSA form completed ahead of schedule.
Parents, don’t worry if this sounds like a lot! I have over twenty years experience working with teenagers, and I will support your student/s in finding success with a scaffolded approach built on accountability and consistent deadlines.
4 Sessions/Name Your Need
Let’s get started. In these four sessions, I will listen to your student and family’s need and create and actualize on a plan to reach your goals for our time together. This work may be issue specific, such as working on finding the right camps, internship, or creative projects to deepen your student’s profile, or we may work together on building executive function skills in order to support your student in being more successful in day-to-day-life.
Other topics include: coping and responding to frustrating behaviors throughout the early childhood and elementary years, deciding what kind of additional supports and interventions your student may need in and out of the classroom to be successful, putting together a stellar care team for your student’s unique needs, and more.
Junior Journey
In 8 sessions, we will do a deep dive into personality and career interests, exploring how these relate to your student’s college major and school choices. Guided by their own self-awareness, your student will build a college list centered on their hopes and dreams, create a calendar of college visits (synced with parents’ availability), and do some “last minute” planning to make sure their senior student profile is strong.

Cory has been the number one force in pushing me to give my all, apply, and know what I deserve from my education.
—Student accepted into North Carolina School of the Arts, Film
“I highly recommend Cory as a college counselor. She provided invaluable guidance and support to my child throughout the entire college application process. My daughter has gone from not really being sure that she wanted to attend college to being really excited and confident about her freshman year.
From the very beginning, Cory was incredibly supportive and patient with my daughter, who sometimes struggles completing tasks! She took the time to get to know and truly understand her individual goals, interests, and academic profile.
She helped my child identify potential colleges, guided my child through the essay writing process, provided valuable feedback on applications, assisted with the financial aid process, and offered valuable advice on college visits.
Cory's guidance and support was instrumental in helping my daughter navigate the complexities of the college application process with confidence.
I would highly recommend Cory to any family seeking guidance and support in the college application process.”
